Foodlink Career Fellowship

The Foodlink Career Fellowship offers an intensive, yearlong culinary curriculum that includes both classroom and hands-on training within Foodlink’s state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. Fellows play an integral role alongside the Foodlink Community Kitchen’s staff in preparing thousands of healthy meals daily for Rochester children, all while increasing the core competencies needed to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. 

Fellows also learn culinary skills via Rouxbe, a world-renowned online culinary training software, and work on essential soft skills development to prepare them for future job opportunities. The final months of the program are spent at an externship with a regional employer.

Rochester Educational Opportunity Center Culinary Arts Certificate Program

The Culinary Arts Certificate program is for the student who is primarily interested in a Culinary Arts concentration without the broad liberal arts background. A graduate of the Culinary Arts Certificate program will have established a basis for a career in the food service industry, and will qualify for a position as an entry-level culinary professional in a commercial or institutional food service operation. The Culinary Arts program features state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, award-winning culinary instructors and small class size/personal attention.

Monroe Community College Culinary Arts Certificate

The Culinary Arts Certificate program is for the student who is primarily interested in a Culinary Arts concentration without the broad liberal arts background. A graduate of the Culinary Arts Certificate program will have established a basis for a career in the food service industry, and will qualify for a position as an entry-level culinary professional in a commercial or institutional food service operation.

The Rochester Brainery

Rochester Brainery is a member of the Rochester Commissary and offers classes on almost anything you can imagine, with the help of our talented and knowledgeable community of teachers. There are a wide-range of culinary classes that you can take that happen right in our performance kitchen within our space! Members of the Rochester Commissary are also able to become an instructor for a class that they would like to teach!
